Before. The hallway has wonderful natural light and views of the courtyard but is not well-suited as a learning space.

After. The new design will open up the hallway by creating an open working commons space. The space is activated and the classrooms, now learning studios, have a more direct relationship to the commons with glass garage doors opening up to this revitalized area.
