Michael Rice holds a degree in Architecture, and developed a revolutionary new approach to design called BioArchitecture. Zana Repova, having graduated with a degree in Macro Economics, turned her attention to the world of holistic design and its application in the area of education. Together they formed ZeMArC Design, and established studios in Slovakia, Austria and Ireland; offering a full spectrum holistic design service, based on the principles of BioArchitecture.
They share over 55 years of rich experience in design and architecture, across all stages of the building procurement process. Their portfolio includes hundreds of beautiful homes, schools, community centres, and commercial structures, in 17 countries. Their deep desire to create consciously supports people to optimise their space, whether it be a new building that is seeking to become, or an existing one that is in need of a new life.
Zana, as a holistic designer, possesses a unique ability to feel into the best potential of a space, and to generate a clear pathway to its manifestation. Michael, as a BioArchitect, uses the fractal coherence of Nature to optimise the expression of structural form. Because of the full spectral range of their combined skillsets, they are often asked to consult and co-vision on new and existing developments, such as the Architects 3000 group, the New Earth Nation initiative, Ubiquity University, the Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava and the Academy of Sacred Geometry, as well as a number of other architectural design studios around the world.
Their shared understanding of how best to create space inspired them to develop, practice and teach a new approach which they call Repleted Space; defined as the art and science of designing and constructing spaces embodying the essence and expression of beauty, through the utilisation and integration of Natures patterns, proportions and protocols, connecting clear intent with effective formation.
